RS Components has signed a global franchise deal with microcontroller supplier, Energy Micro.
 
As a result RS Components will stock Energy Micro's range of ARM Cortex-based microcontrollers, development kits, starter kits and tools in its warehouses across Europe, Asia and North America.

"This agreement gives engineers easier and quicker access to our products direct from RS Components' regional warehouses," said Geir Forre, CEO of Energy Micro. 

"Reducing energy consumption is a key concern for design engineers, and Energy Micro's microcontrollers address this challenge by consuming just a quarter of the energy of rival parts," said Chris Page, global offer director, RS Components.
